You can use ā€œmodifiersā€ to assign multiple functions to buttons/switches. I have an extra button near my stick trigger that I use as a modifier. This makes it convenient to double up functions on throttle controls.Ā

Thanks but I don't need a tutorial about modifiers,Ā  I fully understand how that works.Ā  I also have enough buttons around my pit that I shouldn't need one.Ā  I have a perfectly fine momentary toggle switch I'd like to use for this purpose without a modifier.Ā  Ā  What would be cool though is if Razbam added a cycle option for the H20 switch, like there is for the flaps and like other devs do for their 3 position switches because they understand there are multiple input devices on the market.Ā  Ā  This is me letting them know it's missing.Ā

In the meantime you can help yourself with this

https://github.com/Munkwolf/dcs-community-keybinds

Basically, this adds bunch of these missing switch options to the controls screen so you can bind them to your preferences in regards to your simpit.Ā

Ā

I figure there is likely a way to edit an lua file to accomplish what I want. I've copied and pasted a line or two before for another mod at some point I think.Ā Ā

I'll take a look atĀ  the injector and see if I can make it do what I need.Ā  Ā Thanks.Ā Ā

There are commands for the Water switch that allow it to be used in 3 positions. "H2O TO Else Off" andĀ  "H2O LN else Off".

šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø well i didn’t try those LOL kind of odd to word it like that, but I will give it a go. Thanks for clarifying, I honestly didn’t know what those binds were for because of the wording. Now reading it and thinking of it like a logic switch, they do make sense.

Hopefully you got it sorted. I only discovered them by chance as I'd only seen the water "on" "off" assignments. It wasn't till (in desperation) I started looking at the .lua in order to try and program the function myself I suddenly spotted them under H2O.Ā  Doh!
