Hello,
the manual doesn't say anything about Coms related procedures for cold starts. When i open Coms->ATC menu there are no entries. The manual says the assigend acatapult would be displayed to me, but i don't know where.
How do i know when to taxi and more importantly where to taxi? I understand that the launch crews are pretty chill and will launch me whereever i choose to taxi to, but i assuem that this is not entirely correct? I assume there must be an assigned catapult and some form of taxi clearance...

Also i noticed that there are no radio coms on a Case III launch when i do a cold start, however there are radio coms on CASE III launch when i start "from runway". This makes me think that i'm missing something with Coms. I'm definitely on the correct frequencies, as Coms work correct on recovery...

Thanks.

I see. Thank you!

Is this also related to not having Coms after Case III launches?

I think this is a different subject and not intended. I believe it is already reported, I remember I read something on it on the bug section.

Yep, as already said IRL you just follow Yellow shirt directions, no ATC/Tower contact. In your own mission you do what you want - chose any cat. In SP missions you follow specific briefing orders. In MP either follow briefing, listen to the game master/squad leader or just communicate your intentions.

Related question: Is that also the case for marshall stack on Case III and pattern altitudes on all arrivals?
I'm still learning, so maybe i missunderstood some parts, but it seems to me, as if the ATC doesn'T give me altitude for my pattern, but happily accepts the altitude i am on and doesn't give me a position for the stack on Case III.
Is this also a case of player having to decide for himself in SP, or does ATC give those calls and i simply didn't understand them correctly?

Yes, they do for Case III and other cases.
