No laser Maverick in our version. There are versions of the F-16 that can fire the L-Mav, but those come with more features that we'll likely never see (such as the Amraam-D), so, in order to stay true to our plane version, no laser Maverick.

Navy/Marine units use the 65E/E2 version. The Air Force started using the 65L around 2012 (basically the same missile as the E2).

Hey DCS

Are there any plans for a laser guided version of the Maverick - for the F16?

On that very day, the 23.07.2005, the day that our DCS Viper with tail number 65307 was modeled of of, it had no wings, because it was in maintenance, hence ED decided to remove the wings^^ (Caution: sarcasm)

Honestly, not going to come for usual DCS reasons.

Hi,

If we have any Laser Guided Maverick for our f16c that would be sweet! I am sure the US Air Force must have these in their inventory. It would let us to be able to have another option of Maverick that do not necessarily have to do the painful alignment as well. Hope to see if this could work?

thanks!
