solved Sonic boom sound disappear

Hi,

Am I alone with this issue ?

Since a while (2-3 update ago) I've got no sonic boom sound any more.

I tried every speed, all airplanes I have (supersonics only ). Nothing. In front : no sound, which is how it has to be. Then the AC pass, and I just have the normal jet sound. No "Boom"...

I have no mods and already made a clean and repair install.

Hello, for my part I haven't had any sonic sound for at least 6 months, there is no catapulting sound on SC and there is the sound of the explosion of my plane which hits the planet, what is it from? I don't know either

I've checked sonic boom and catapulting sounds. From my side (trunk version) evrth works fine.

@dggoofy @PLUTON Check your mods. Some of them cause an absence of sounds.

I meant, if you have some unofficial mods installed, try disabling them. Example: recently, the UH-60 mod deprived users of Comibined Arms sounds.

Easy:

1. Rename your "Saved Games/DCS..." folder to "DCS.backup" (do NOT delete it).
2. Run DCS, log in, and see if you can hear the sonic boom.

Then after your test is over, in order to retrieve your custom settings:

1. Rename the newly created "Saved Games/DCS" folder to "DCS.new" (or whatever).
2. Give your "DCS.backup" folder its initial name ("DCS" or "DCS.openbeta").

Thanks for all. I finally found the issue. My fault! I had a "sonicboom.wav" in the sound folder. I don't remember when and why I put this in, but deleting it solved the issue.
