On F16 my rudder padals are super sensitive with NWS. It is so bad that on take off I use only tail rudder. On landing I have to really careful when below 60 and then enable. I have dampener and soft spring add-ons. Can curves help this? I look like I had too much to drink 🍻 thanks

I have no curves. I try lo line up as straight as possible. And I usually turn off NWS as soon as I start rolling.

On landing, I just wait as long as I can to enable.

Trying out curves makes no harm though. 😊

Is it possible to rest your heels on the floor and just use differential pressure from your toes to keep the movements small?  Perhaps a stiffer spring might actually help by giving something to push against?

I have neither F16 nor crosswinds but since I built my own pendular rudders with my heels on the floor I've found that I can get miniscule rudder inputs by simply flexing my toes.  It might help that I designed massive travel into the pedals (there's about 250mm of pedal travel) so the accuracy is pretty high, have to dance around a bit in the chair to get max rudder input though 😄

@MAXsenna and @edmuss I was thinking about this after posting. If I mess with the curves, it would affect both tail rudder and NWS. I do have the original stiff spring which will do a better job of returning to center. F16 is always very out of control on the ground anyway.

Overdampening in combination with a soft spring came to my mind. Can you adjust the dampening?

Hello. I can indeed adjust. I am going try variations.

Yes indeed. My pedal setup same as yours. Here are my curves.
