ahh, i correct myself,

in the simulation there's a button for SHKVAL Wiper, it wipes 5 time's i think. U got to push the button everytime u need it.

Now the Question again, in the real Ka-50 is there an option like the normal cockpit wiper for the SHKVAL or is it real original ?

thx so far

Only thing I noticed is you don't see it wipe on the Shkval image. Would have been nice if they simulated a black line move up/down the screen.

Best regards,

Tango.

I'm not sure that the viper is noticeable in the real chopper when it wipes due to the focus point so much farther ahead and the aperture is extremely large I guess . You may notice some very, very blury lines though.

Anyone know the aperture of the skhval by any chance?

Nah, it's not implemented yet, but I believe they said they're working on getting rain and dust effects on glass implemented. Might be a whiiiile though, who knows...

I noticed that they made the wipers work, but I was wondering if they where usefull in the simulation, since the windows are always clean.

I can't wait to see dirt implemented.

Speaking of dirt, I'd like to hear the trees brand scratch the chopper belly when I go graise them. And splatered bugs on the Shvall image when doing low flying hehe!

Sim pilot's would love their windshields to get dirty, the cockpit to get hot so they can use the ventilation and lightning to strike their aircraft.

Real pilot's would love not to deal with any of these things!

In the next release you will have to deal with high-speed depleted uranium, multiple explosive canisters, from small to large, as well as heat-seeking air to air missiles.

I don't think you'll have time to admire bugs or rain ;)

I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
