Query regarding skins install

I have a fresh install and downloaded 3 sets of skins from user files. Despite following the instructions, I could not get them to show in the drop down select liveries. While investigating this , I noticed there were many more liveries folders in both saved games and the core mods folders that also did not show in the liveries drop down.

Why is this and any ideas to get all these optional skins showing please?

Some liveries are restricted to certain countries. Without knowing which liveries you're referring to, it's hard to say what your specific issue might be.

Try the liveries manager. It's really simple.

Thanks, the countries thing was one half of the problem, the other being the fact that the skins were within 2 folders when unzipped, which I did not notice.....

Is liveries manager a mod?

No,  it's an app without a GUI. Doesn't work for every livery for mods, but for modules, and it's not updated for the F1 yet. But it makes things really simple.

Or you can simply open description file (with notpad) which is in each skin's folder, and add country inside this brackets, use english 3 leter abbrevation country codes.

\DCS World OpenBeta\Scripts\Database\db_countries.lua has some countries in it.
