McVittees Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 Anyone else think their wingmen say 's**t' sometimes when they hit something or am I imagening it? Could be 'Shack' I suppose.:P Ideas? Dusty Rhodes Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 It is Shack. When he says "wheels Up" it sounds like "lets rock". :) Dusty Rhodes Play HARD, Play FAIR, Play TO WIN Win 7 Professional 64 Bit / Intel i7 4790 Devils Canyon, 4.0 GIG /ASUS Maximus VII Formula Motherboard/ ASUS GTX 1080 8 GB/ 32 Gigs of RAM / Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog / TrackIR 5 / 2 Cougar MFD's / Saitek Combat Pedals/ DSD Button Box FLT-1

kaiserb_uk Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 Okay - so what does 'Shack' mean? Hit, dead, kill, splat, bullseye?
Vapour Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 Okay - so what does 'Shack' mean? Hit, dead, kill, splat, bullseye? A shack is a type of small house that is in disrepair, :music_whistling:, what about a coop sometime mate, long time no see.
kaiserb_uk Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 I'm there. I'll be dead very quickly, or stuck in a hover behind a shack, but I'm there.

aledmb Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 well, according to the reference pointed out by Acedy, a shack is a direct hit.
Acedy Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 Yeah, but note that according to the bottom part of that explanation Vapour is correct regarding the origin of that term. :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] *** SERVMAN SERVER MANAGEMENT MOD V2 FOR DCS:BS V1.0.1 *** *** VERSION FOR FC2 ***
Frederf Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 I always figured it was "shack" or "sheck" and considering when he said it it means "hit." I assumed it was some Russian pilot slang that didn't get translated over to English.
