Flash1606687761 Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 After doing some random flying and a few practice touch and go landings I think I have found an issue.. My brakes are backwards?!? Pushing then down takes them off. Is that right? I couldn't work out why I kept popping tires.. It because I landed with the brakes on!
Nate--IRL-- Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 Set the axis you use for the brake to be inverted in the options. Solved it for me. Nate Ka-50 AutoPilot/stabilisation system description and operation by IvanK- Essential Reading

I have the prolem where it automaticaly locks the break and its not even the function set.:joystick::doh: "any failure you meet, is never a defeat; merely a set up for a greater come back", W Forbes. d0ppler Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 If you want it as realistic as possible, there are noe toe brakes on the shark. The break is a handle on the collective on the real thing. ZaltysZ Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 I have the prolem where it automaticaly locks the break and its not even the function set.:joystick::doh: Saitek Pedals have erratic behavior: frequently axis of toe brake show middle position while they are not pressed at all. It is hardware or driver issue. Pushing them a little and releasing corrects axis readings. Owners of them should develop a habit, to push and release brakes before landing. Airway Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 Haven'T got this issue yet with my Saitek pedals. They shouldn't be set as axis but as slider anyway.
ZaltysZ Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 Haven'T got this issue yet with my Saitek pedals. They shouldn't be set as axis but as slider anyway. No matter how. It is not game related. Sometimes it is possible to see that computer thinks they are pressed half way by looking at Pedals Control Panel. Sometimes it even happens just after startup of PC. I have observed it in DCS, IL2 (real hazard for tail draggers), FSX. It is known problem of these pedals. Wir sehen uns in Walhalla.
Debio Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 Couldn't find that? Am I being stupid? i have solved this same prob with my CH Pedals; may work for you too. under the keyboard/joystickck assignments, i set only one pedal to be the wheel brake - setting both caused probs for me. under the axis assignments there is a button on the lower right for axis fine tune. use that to select inverted, and set a deadzone so that the brake is not applied when you press the pedal just a little bit. setting the axis as slider did not work for me. gl...
SunDown Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 I've noticed this twitching as well. And I do the same thing, just pop the pedals one way to clear it out. C Co 6-6 CAV USLANTCOM
