ACTIVE / INACTIVE CAT OPTIONS !

RWC

Recommended Posts

Hi developers,

Is there any way to have a option to select which CAT's can be active and inactive on the SC ?

So far when planes are parked on the CAT area (which we usually see on any of the present photo's), planes STILL try to take of from them and crash into the parked planes.

Usually the active/used planes are parked on the deck and CAT's, and have one or two CAT's active/in use for landing and takeoff.

See it as what runway is active/inactive on a airport depending on the wind direction.

The supercarrier needs this option to activate / deactivate CAT's in use !

Thanks for reading this.

Kind regards,

RWC.

Bumping this after trying to stack decks and work with AI. Blocking spawns, or even an ability to select spawn point, severely reduces available spawn points. If you want to close down a single bow cat you go from 16 ramp slots to 11. If you want to close down both bow cats you go down to 4 ramp slots. Not to mention, if there are any fewer than 6 available spots clients cannot spawn in Tomcats at all.

A selection to choose desired catapult for a spawned AI would be ideal.

I know this thread has been revived several times, but is there a way to at least turn off the rear catapult spawn points when a friendly plane calls in to land or gets in the marshal stack?

Planes could still taxi to them, but at least preventing the cat spots from spawning could help in the multi-player environment.
