flavnet Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 (edited) Are there any hopes of seeing an F1CR or CT? Edited September 25, 2022 by flavnet 1
Iron Sights Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 (edited) Looks like that option will only be available for AI aircraft. I doubt that will change, but they do have three other versions planned, so I guess that is better than one and done. Edited September 25, 2022 by Iron Sights
Ala13_ManOWar Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 (edited) I don't think so since they're handling only Spanish Air Force material. Unless they can manage that sort of data from French Air Force or the like I believe it'd quite difficult/impossible to do so. Anyhow, F1M version should be even more capable than those. Let's see when we get it (last one planned). Edited September 25, 2022 by Ala13_ManOWar "I went into the British Army believing that if you want peace you must prepare for war. The CR obviously comes with a lot of recce-options (in pods, mostly) that the M wouldn't have. So ein Feuerball, JUNGE!

Yep, in SAF Recce at that time was performed by RF-4Cs (RSF-5As even earlier), and later when those were disbanded a Recce pod was added to the Hornet, so no need for F1M to perform Recce, though I'm not sure if among the many pods they carried any of them could be actually a Recce one, probably not but I don't really now. Anyhow, in the last time of service as F1M it was mostly a dedicated ground attack aircraft, so capabilities were probably focussed on that instead of initial A-A and so if ever Spanish F1s were able to perform Recce at all. Copy and paste the custom arg from a F1 CT liverie to a F1 CE and it would be done. I made a RC2/30 livery (paste from the RC1/30) Edited November 4, 2022 by grim_reaper68 1
flavnet Posted November 4, 2022 Author Posted November 4, 2022 Thanks for sharing grim_reaper68! It's currently the only way to fly an F1CT or CR. Of course it is an aesthetic solution since the systems remain those of the F1CE. But, it's nice!
