My 8yo daughter enjoys crashing A-10s in VR and my 10yo son is becoming quite an accomplished aerobatic pilot in the Yak.  Both have been at it for over a year too, but still very much casual, rather than regular players.

My 5yo daughter doesn't fly (yet ), but she does try to flip switches and touch things in the cockpit when I briefly let her look through my VR set. She's already amazed by it, just like I was a few years ago (and still am today). Priceless 

 

 

...oh, and before I'm being reported by the parental police, I only give her my headset for like 30 seconds (then it's daddy DCS playtime again).. I know I know, father of the year award material here ...

My grandson started playing DCS when he was 3, his favourite aircraft at that time was the BAE Hawk, he is now 12.

I'm 66 and not the oldest on here
