solved Mission Start Radio Transmission Bug

If I put a Radio transmission in the At Mission Start it will not play. If I delete it put it in a 1 Once type it will play fine. Did not matter what I used in the At Mission Start nothing worked. All my other items in the Mission Start worked fine nothing for sound will work. so Sound to Unit/Radio Transmission AM & FM do not work. Not using the BETA version. Should be easy to reproduce.

I don't even find a repair tool for DCS Is there one?

The Mission Start triggers were fixed not so long ago. Are you sure your version is up to date?

Maybe you need to save your mission in the latest DCS version to fix your mission? Please attach one of your affected mission.

And just in case, here's how to repair DCS. If you're using Steam DCS, just use the Steam "Verify game files" feature.

Do yourself a favour and get Skatezilla's GUI launcher/updater, and never look back.

Okay I cut down the mission to a junk down version of just the Huey on the pad cold start with 2 at start mission Non Working commands on my end. The Sound to Group and the Picture to Group because of your 5 meg limit file size and this was 10 meg. I RAN the DCS_World updater.exe repair and it did its thing and it still does not work on my end IN VR I always play in VR. No Picture No Sound. I will NOW go do it again and I will attach the TRK file to this too. I don't know what to do.

I downloaded this before and again today same results Nothing on the program works. No Button can be pressed No field window can be used. It runs gets a lot of info from the game that I can scroll through but again Not One Button can be pushed or used and the Windows to pick things from Can Not Be Opened or Used. I Suspended my Virus Protection I tell Nortons to Allow access to the Program *.exe it will not work.

????????? OKAY Your Miz file works just fine when I load it into Mission Editor And jump in the Huey....What am I doing wrong ????? No sound and no picture from my Miz file on my end unless I take the command out of the at mission start..????????? lol What have I done wrong this time.

Oh! I see. That's a bummer. Skatezilla's very helpful if you ask in his thread. I'm sure it's only one minor setting.

On my D drive same as DCS but in a Folder just for it NOT in the game directory on the root drive named DCS Updater Utility

I was just wondering if it somehow got put in a folder without write access, and that's why can't change anything. You did configure it though? None of the buttons work until you've pressed "app settings" or something, and added the paths to saved games and DCS, verified and saved the settings. Sometimes I must exit the app to have it save the settings.
Post a screenshot if you would like to try again.

After uninstalling it then cleaning/repairing DCS (I still don't have The "at start" command in ME working) then reinstalling DCS Utility Program it is now working and it is in the setup stage so I came here to Thank You and let you know I have it NOW working. My DCS is not. and it is up to date and repaired. AT MISSION START still does not work in ME.

if you don’t mind me asking, if it works with a “time more than” condition, why not just have a time more than 1 second > radio transmit?

@DishDoggie Also, just in case, delete any "DCS..." folder you can find in your "C:\Users\Flav\AppData\Local\Temp" folder.

I can't post the miz file. It is to large. The forum has a 5 meg limit. I made a very nothing mission from it with just the Huey on the pad with the start command that doesn't work I also add the TRK file for when I ran the same file and it did not work for me.

Okay I did just that and will go run the game. and see. Did you try my attached files Miz and Trk? It's crazy your Miz worked fine for me mine don't Thank You for the help All.

I had missed it. And it helps understanding your issue: your Huey is a Client, when mine is a Player. Try "Player", and your mission will work as expected.

If your goal is to create an MP mission, you should use the "TIME MORE" condition instead, like @Sedlo said.

I did that in a fast way so I didn't care how it was done and I  do understand what you are saying so I will do that as for the Huey wow my bad I feel like a Dope. I can't believe I did that. so I feel the need to apologize to everyone for being a dumb Dog lol. Thank You
