Northstar98 Posted October 30, 2022 Posted October 30, 2022 Hi everyone, A long standing issue in DCS - the firing rate of the 5"/54 Mk 45 Mod 2 (Ticonderoga), 5"/62 Mk 45 Mod 4 (Arleigh Burke) and AK-130 (Slava) have excessive rates of fire. For the 2 5" Mk 45 guns, they should have a rate of fire of 16-20 RPM [source for Mod 2, source for Mod 4]. In DCS however they have a firing rate of ~60 RPM, triple what they should be. For the AK-130, it should have a firing rate of 10-40 RPM, per barrel (or 80 RPM combined) [source]. In DCS however, it has a rate of fire of 80 RPM, per barrel or 160 RPM combined. Other naval guns in DCS have firing rates that match with what I can find online.
