EP-13 the maverick sight is to bright in the dark and needs to be adjusted.

There are knobs to adjust brightness and contrast that can be bound to control inputs.  I don't remember the exact names of the top of my head, but I think you will find them if you search for brightness and contrast.

  Lucky you... - my EP-13 remains dark, also at mission start, regardless of which RB75 version I use and whether I am re-arming or not.

This is a new one. Are you setting up your cockpit switches correctly?

Hey Vettefan! How do you normally change your brightness and contrast knobs? With the mouse or with some other input device?

It might be then the case that the controls got synchronized when spawning ...

Thanks! will check my settings for that.

Just set up another test environment and it turned out it may be Syria-specific (South Atlantic works OK!). On South Atlantic map, my EP-13 shows the cross-hair as intended but also maybe a little bright...

Confirmed, switches are set ok. All works well but currently not on Syria map for me.

Will keep trying.

Have you tried to adjust brightness and contrast for the EP-13 sight via the two respective knobs on the left wall panel?

Vettefan, which radar mode are you using during usage of the EP?
A0 or A1 or A2?
A0 would be black on white, A1 white on black, A2 automatic.
Maybe this is the problem you are running into when your controls are synced?

Can you list the steps you are following, just to make sure you're not forgetting something?

Oh, you were talking about using them at night? Well, then it's no wonder you don't get a useable picture, because the RB75 (AGM-65A) is not night capable. It's a daylight only TV seeker, not an IR seeker like the AGM-65D.
