Hey, the obligatory question on the curves: Are there already good ideas on curves for the TM Warthog? currently, every input kind of „shakes the plane around“ on my end. Normal behavior for everyone or a settings topic?

And she’s mine! So thrilled to fire her up after the download.

Changing Pilot Names and Aircraft Numbers Using On The Tomcat
Vettefan replied to Chopper A-10's topic in DCS: F-14A & B
Hi! Kindly asking, if this already solved, as I currently seem not to be able to change my plane number in ME... Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! -
When will the CV59 have the function of a super aircraft carrier?
Vettefan replied to dandan's topic in Heatblur Simulations
Would be great to see that implemented: Especially now with the new Iraq map coming and a Forrestal class carrier (USS Ranger, if I am not mistaken, which is close enough) that was operating in the gulf it would add a significant boost in reality and immersion… Just saying… -

Tacview, the ACMI for DCS World – Official Thread
Vettefan replied to Vyrtuoz's topic in DCS Modding
Hey! Is it a faulty setting on my end or is Fuel weight and FF not recorded in Multiplayer (flying the F/A-18 Hornet on Caucasus)? Also, when I put in the setting "do not switch distance to feet" it still shows the distance between the carrier and me in feet... I'm using the free version of Tacview. Anyone has any good idea? Thanks Update #1: Offline, Marianas map, Hornet = also no Fuel and FF readings in Tacview Update #2: Bought a license, still no change re. FF, Fuel weight and distance in nm Update #3: DCS settings under “Special” seem to be correct, capturing all data for Tacview -
reported earlier Scores are not being updated since the 2.8 update

Copy that, no logbook entries / scores anymore -
Had the same problem! Thanks for providing the resolution here: Works with those 2 steps you gave.

Small thing to most, I guess: I flew 3 sorties but none was being logged in the DCS Logbook on my end. The OH-58D(R) section remains empty (I like having flights logged there for some statistical analyses I perform on my flights). Thanks for looking into this. Edit #1: A full repair of my DCS installation did not change the situation, yet. Edit #2: Logbook not tracking on any map. Edit #3: Other modules are currently being tracked in logbook.

Hi. I ave not checked in quite some time: Was the radio-topic already fixed? I still remember that earlier the radio did not work properly for e.g. checking in with the carrier, ball calls, having to touch and go to get a carrier grading, etc. Many thanks!!

resolved 05/04/2024 Unable to get authentication - Server down again?
Vettefan replied to Dangerzone's topic in DCS 2.9
Hey @BIGNEWY! I am kicked out again and cannot connect to the website / multiplayer. Also, DCS is again showing an authorization error for me. You may want to have the server status checked again, please? Many thanks! -
Hi, I am trying to figure out whether it is possible to have an on-screen message displayed, showing the rounds shot by my own plane during an engagement. I wish to basically evaluate my gunning accuracy in offline dog fights and check, how many rounds I spent in an engagement. Is there any in-game functionality for that? Cheers!

I now performed a rather structured test and come to the conclusion that bottom-line we need to be connected for a minimum of 20sec to have it counted in the Logbook. This is based on ~50 evaluated AARs in the mighty Tomcat, Hornet, Harrier, Strike Eagle and Viper. Everything below 20sec connected to the tanker (KC-130 or KC-135 or MPRS) was not counted whereas everything with 20sec and above connection time is tracked in my logbook. Analysis was done based on the time-stamps in the post mission stats. I hope this help to understand the topic a bit better. Cheers
