Keyboard Shortcuts During VR

Just joined DCS a couple months ago and I am learning to fly the Huey and Apache using VR. One of the many things I am struggling with is using the keyboard shortcuts while wearing the VR.

Is there a trick to using VR and using the keyboard at the same time?

I have a G2 and removed the nose piece so I can kind of see the keyboard if I have to.  Obviously a good HOTAS helps.

Yep Voice Attack with Vaicom Pro and a good HOTAS setup. I never touch the keyboard when flying. I also have Point CTRL so same with not needing to reach for mouse for me as well.

Thanks, I will look into Voice Attack. I have the Max Flight Huey Controls, so the HOTAS controls work great, I just can't quickly or easily do any of the commands.
