If you bought BS1 in ~2008 and upgraded to BS2 a while ago, you can merge the BS1+BS2 into a proper BS2 license and then the discount to BS3 will show up.

There is a menu in the bottom left of the license page to convert a BS1+BS2 upgrade to BS2.

Thanks! This works for me. Now I've got BS3 at $9.99 !!

is your old bs1 from steam that has no key?

No, it's from Ed. At that time I think that they didn't have it at Steam. I solved issue by merging BS1 and BS2.

Black Shark 1 used to be on steam over a decade ago and is delisted now.  Anyways looks like they fixed it and bs2 upgrade is recognized.

Bought BS2 on steam, migrated to standalone and now also seeing 69,99 for BlackShark3.

That´s so weird.

Now i read that those dudes tell us to "buy the upgrade from the same place we bought bs2 from". Are you serious ? Forcing ppl to go back to steam is kind of not what i would expect here...

Same - raised a ticket and on standalone.

Gary

Just to say I raised a ticket and my purchase has now been reduced to include the discount. Thank you ED for sorting for me. Appreciated.

The fix if you bought BS2 on Steam is buy the upgrade on Steam too and migrate it to stand alone, that works

I have a question.

I have purchased BS1 over a decade ago on Steam and at the same time I can see the DCS: Black Shark 3 Upgrade Steam version for 9,73 €.
When I click on it, it gives me this information.

Does that mean I can upgrade to BS3?

Has anyone upgraded from BS1 to BS3?
There is no BS2 upgrade I might add.

Okay, I have a slightly different problem -

As an owner of BS2, BS3 has been at the 9.99 mark, but weirdly enough, in the sale, it's showing up as 19.99 even though I'm logged in.

Has it had a price rise, or is it a peculiarity?

Finally, I can run DCS!!!

The US$ 10 upgrade was for a limited time only, so I guess that it has lapsed, you waited too long ... the FAQ says:

"you may take advantage of the Black Shark 3 Upgrade Program. This offer grants you the brand new version for only $10.99. Please note that this offer is only available for 3 months. After that, the upgrade cost will increase to $19.99."

Ah balls, missed that. My fault for being too slow. Thanks.
