Awsome Awsome Awsome. Finally a good helo sim. I hope to see a UH 60 or an Mi-..., with a working winch, and sling, some accompaning scenery. Also a hospital with helipad, and or M.A.S.H. unit under heliports.

Us rotoheads get off on the fact that you trade predictable stability, and speed for agility and versitility. Try hiding behind a tree in a Mig-29. but never before in a helo sim has that balence been properly meet. A good helo pilot can fly a good helicopter through an open hanger at about 5kts. not that any of the hangers in blackshark have let me but the proper dynamics are there, without sacrifising the risky stuff like blade stall, overtourqe, vortex ring, and etc.

Looking good. So this will be a flyable aircraft without messing with the Ka-50, like the tomcat in LOMAC? wonder what we would have to do to get a working winch?

This is just me dreaming but is it possible to replace the ka50 model by one of this to simulate Combat MEDEVAC in multiplayer (having a trigger function and a real pilot flying it)?

@ NRG-Vampire and beczl:

This is awesome work! You guys do pretty nice modelling, really.

And one question to you guys. How do you get the models into DCS:BS? Can you post a quick tutorial or at least some hints where to find the proper tools or something about how to translate the 3D data into DCS:BS-3D-format?

I really would like to do some modeling on my own. I am using lightwave3d which is pretty versatile in terms of 3d formats and also exports collada, which is (will become) the new 3d model standard (actually it is XML, so I could write a proper XSLT to translate the data if DCS:BS relies on XML).

I would be verrrrry glad if you could help me out :-D

greetings pilots!
