i bought the mi8 right and no matter what i select  i haved to practially rip the joystick out of its socket to get anything like right rudder it just wants to spin left all the time 

anyone know anyhting i dont?

Also check you don't have double bindings for yaw axis.

And, if possible, record short track, it will be easier for us to spot any problems.

Turn on the roll and pitch autopilot channels then. They make the Hip more stable and pleasant to fly. Still, it shouldn't want to spin to the left if correct rudder input is applied. You're doing something wrong, but unless you post a replay track, we won't be able to advise, 'cause your description is just too vague.

Have you opened up the controls indicator to see what your inputs are?

Right CTRL + Enter IIRC

Should only need around 1/4 right rudder for hover in ground effect.
