Shkval not slewing itself to target

Hi, I have a problem.

After the update I cannot slew shkval to selected target either created in the PVI-800 or in the datalink panel. It moves to the correct bearing, but does not move in the vertical axis like it was in the BS2. All targets are in correct position according to ABRIS chart.

Same issue for me also!....

When saved data link targets are re-selected... And the shikval is un-caged it is no where near the target.... Watched many YouTube tutorials to be sure I am not doing something wrong/ out of sequence etc.

I am hoping the INS issues are related!, And as such will be sorted in a patch.

This behaviour has been fixed with today's update. 🙂

@Skrzatek Are you happy with the fix?

Sorry for late respond, I've been struggling with my overall pc performance.
Yes, it is working as it should. But I've been able to notice INS drift after 20 seconds. (I believe it was INS drift, I mean I noticed that shkval was drifting from the target each time I hit "uncage" button.)
By the way: is shkval screen limited to display certain amount of fps now? I think it has less amount of fps than the outside world view, but it may be only me and my poor pc.

Sorry, but 20 mins of INS prec alignment is far too long for sim and needs pre-aligned option.

That is absurdly long in sim and in real life. Laser ring INS gyros should align with high precision in 3-5 minutes. GLOSSNASS aided, a combat usable alignment should be no more then 3 minutes.

In the Russian forum pictures from the manual were posted and these times seem to be correct.

also you can see from other post that the fast alignment is not intended for combat operations so 10-20min is the minimum for combat missions.

But in the Russian area Dev mentioned that sometime in the future there might be something similar to a prealignment so that you don't have to wait 15-20 minutes for an exact alignment, when that will come nobody knows.

Zitat

GLOSSNASS is not connected to the PVI-800 in our KA-50III so it does not affect the alignment.
The alignment is also so long because it is probably (correct me if you like) a part of the system must come to operating temperature.

Since it is a TV screen, I guess its frequency is 50 or 60 Hz, right?
