Datalink forcing false correlation on FCR

There is an issue where the AWACS datalink overrides the F-16s own FCR contact to force a correlation on that datalink track which is just creates a false contact leading to a failure to acquire the target until the datalink track updates. This can be clearly seen in the video posted below. Upon recommitting, the pilot achieves positive radar contact, however, because of the datalink contact persisting his radar is being forced to correlate with the datalink track and he cannot acquire the target as you see him spam the TMS Up command. Furthermore, you can clearly see that when the datalink contact disappears that all the previous track frames appear right before he is able to command a positive lock on the target.

This video is on the latest OB patch 2.8.2.35759 on a multiplayer server. The target in question was another human player also in an F-16.

i can 2nd to that. Its hard to replicate the issue. The simple one o one examples not going showcase this strange behavior. However if you fly a lot on GS server or any other popular server you will run into this problem.

Also i find that theirs some sort of a conflictions between the fcr and datalink stuff, on the fcr page. With fcr filter set to ALL i often loose lock or cant get a lock because of it. So i set the FCR filter to FTR+ and monitor D/L on hsd. that works great.

Would hope to see someone looking into this.

the whole FCR DL symbology is a little off. for example: how can a track that shows Red on DL (and is also detected by my radar) turn to white (unknown) from the second i bug it? do i magically lose all DL info on said contact?
