Hi guys,

I noticed this issue (I don't know for how long it's been there, not flying a lot recently...):

The side part of the screen shows a much brighter illumination compared to the center view.
Here an example, I just turned my head without changing any screen or game setting. Look at the hangars and the sky, they are too much brighter compared to the same area but looking straight to it.
It happens in cockpit view only, not in external.

Any idea? Is it just me or others are experiencing the same issue?

What you think is an issue is HDR adjusting the brightness of the game as designed.

Ok but it's unrealistic.
Is there any way to disable it?

I've just posted about this in another thread, but this is exactly what is happening with mine too. It makes flying looking forward really bad as everything is so bright!

Can this be disabled somehow?

It's the way simulated "HDR" works in DCS since introduction of ver. 2.8. Used to do that in earlier versions as well, just got much stronger in 2.8.xx. Graphics engine part, can't be disabled by user.
