Drakentoth Posted March 18, 2023 Posted March 18, 2023 Hello! I recently got a new phone and didn't know I had to port Google authentication to the new one, now I'm locked out of my account. How can I rectify this? I was able to get into the forums, but not dcs proper. Thanks in advance!
Rudel_chw Posted March 18, 2023 Posted March 18, 2023 The only way out of this is to contact ED support by means of a support ticket. This is why I used 2FA for a while and then opted out of it, the risk of losing access by accident is higher than the risk of someone guessing my password. 1 For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB

I really have no idea how to proceed on this kind of issue .. send a PM to either @NineLine or @BIGNEWY surely they will know what you can do to recover your access. Drakentoth Posted March 19, 2023 Author Posted March 19, 2023 @Rudel_chw thank you for the suggestions!
Major_Mayhem Posted May 25, 2023 Posted May 25, 2023 (edited) If you still have access to the old phone just connect it to wifi you should be able to use google authentication without a SIM chip and/or access to cellular data. Log into your account and remove 2FA then you can bind it to your new authenticator if you so choose. If you no longer have access to your old phone you should be able to email support@digitalcombatsimulator.com Be prepared to prove your identity. Once they know you're the real you, they will probably just disable/turn off 2fa on your account. You can find all the contact information including the support email for ED in contacts https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/contacts/ There is a contacts link at the bottom of the main page.
