New Hind with turret (Mi-35M/Mi-24G "Superhind mk.3/4)?

As I understood, Eng community also want to see interesting multicrew Hind, and ask ED to think about V or VP versions. But what about deep modernisation of Hind as well known as Mi-35M or Mi-24G Superhind, that can work at night, use GPS? much more powerfull engines and better quallity NVGs? Mi-35M seems also can be equipped with8 ATGMs Ataka, 4*Iglas, UPK-23-250 gun pods and SPO-15. I know that Mi-35M secret aircraft, but what about G version then? Its 2000kg lighter, has 20mm turret that shoot with IHEADS(like Apache) and modified ATGMs with 7.5km range.

Sorry mee if my question seems silly, but seems ppl want to see one more Hind generation that will be equipped with SPO-15, guided turret, better NVG and FLIR if possible.

Mi-35M circa 2006/7 is likely possible with certain documentation that’s currently available and the limited scope of its update on previous models. What stops it being made is Russian law that affects the Russian employees and connections of ED. A foreign 3rd party may be able to do so but may be more difficult.

As for SuperHind, I believe you have two operators and only a couple dozen made? The pool of both documentation and information is likely very limited. I haven’t seen any IRL Super Hind documentation online that isn’t promotional. I’m sure it’s possible if you had the info, but I don’t think it’s very easy to get

So what is possible way of the next Hind generation (if ED let us)? It seems to me, that V or VP versions can be really nice but probably can`t be so ultimate as P one. Seems like Mi-35M is the best possible way, but how much time do we need to wait for being aproved, probably more then 10 years...?  I said about Superhind just becaus its pretty old (2002-2003 for first versions I think) as one more example of Night Hind (agree with you about its hardness getting any info)

I was talking about fantasies and dreams. When it comes to ED, Mi-24V/P is the most modern Hind they can make. And they had a good reason to make P instead of V, so that’s what we have. If it sold like an Apache maybe we would get a V upgrade

But what about Mi-24PN version? Seems to me, there may be less troubles with documentation, bc this helicopter was very small circulation. Anyway it is very similar to Mi-35M. I mean non retractable gear, new engines, 8 ATGM pod on right wing, probably 4*Iglas pod on left wing, night cockpit and external lights adaptation and....SPO-15😄null

If I understood, impossible to add SPO-15 to current Mi-24P? This make me sad, bc I saw very similar to P version with SPO-15 with russian board numbers and 30mm cannon(not PN). In the way of Hind next gen, If ED will decide to do P or VP version, seems that this 2 versions can be very similar and ED can do thing like with Mirage F-1, whem you buy 1 module, and got 1 more version a bit later. Why not? V has 12.7mm gun, but VP has 23mm gun. One of the main difference is V can be equipped with SPO-15, but VP not. But seems to me, SPO-15 must be on Hind, 23mm gun also. So better idea is to do 2 versions: V(SPO-15+12.7) and VP(23mm)

What if ED will upgrade current P version to PN(user can choose P or PN)? And do different V/VP as next module?

PN has very old FLIR(seems like cobined observe station with laser rangefinder, that can be easier to have documents on it, so why not?

Anyway, is it so hard to add SPO-15 to current Hind? What will different to cockpit?

While I love the enthusiasm, I don’t think we will get any other versions of the Hind. In my opinion, I thought the chin turret option would be a good idea to get more people to go to the gunner’s seat. Who knows, maybe when the dust clears, they may do another version, I would not bank on it.

In this way I asked to add  SPO-15 to current Hind P but seems ED think that Russian Hind P had not SPO-15 ever...

This opinion stimulate me to find all this photos, but even now there no any answer from ED...

I would sure love SPO-15, but honestly a paid upgrade with a V model and more weapon variants would be really awesome. I know it hasn’t been that long, but ED doesn’t have many options for other Cold War modules where so much work has already been done

I just looked up some stuff and realized the Mi-24G is real and in service with a few countries... I never realized this. I thought it was just a one off prototype. This would be nice to have in DCS and I would buy it.

Yes, I don’t know of any significant differences however except maybe the radio choice of the operator. I have suspected it might be for Brazil?

if thats the only difference could ED get around Russian security laws by using documentation acquired outside of the country that is specifically meant for a export version? Isn't that how they were able to do a mi29 9.12? Or was that old enough they could use Soviet era documentation?

Yes. Export version with minor differences. So you could conceivably use both foreign docs for any g sensitive, domestic docs for other things, and assuming that any of the changes we have no information about are minor and not applicable in DCS
