I am having some difficulties with the viggen liveries. They are missing textures even though they are all there in the DCS files, I checked both saved games and the normal folder, double checked them with my buddy who has working liveries, and it was identical, except mine didn't work. I checked this in DCS ST & MT. This is the only thing truly stopping me from buying it as I am only on the trial version, but why would I buy something that doesn't work...

For now try to make sure file name references in description.lua files are correct to the corresponding ones, mine are working file with the latest change only on dynamic tail numbering.

Seems like a problem with your DCS setup, hard to say for sure since this bug report does not include your dcs.log file nor a track file, to gather more info about the problem. On my DCS the Viggen liveries definitely work:

The dcs log file is a text file located at /Saved Games/dcs.openbeta/Logs .. like this:

You can attach it on the forum using the bottom section of the posts editor ... it says "drag files here"

Looks like it's trying to find some textures named "F776_VIG_FUSELAGE_..." but is unable to find them inside the specified folder (f7 skaraborg).
So looks like the "F7 Skaraborg" livery has been modified to me. The textures it's looking for is not default ones as far as I'm aware.

Hmm. Is the livery present in the saved games folder maybe?

There is a different description file with actual details on liveries. I changed the things that say true to false

description.lua

Why would that fix it? Just curious

Because that livery is one of the built-in liveries of the Viggen, when you add it to /Saved Games/ you are basically duplicating the livery and to make matters worse, the one you added seems to be incomplete.

Edit: hope you can re-title the thread, since this is clearly not a Module bug, but user error.

Yep, the whole thing. That folder is overwriting the default livery of the aircraft, and it's trying to find textures it's unable to find. Which is why you see the "no texture" texture on most of the aircraft.
So removing the livery folder, or fixing it so it finds the correct files will fix it.

You are welcome .. hope you enjoy the Viggen and end up purchasing it, for me it is one of the most enjoyable aircrafts of DCS, and some community members have created a great array of liveries for it, like this:

I had the same problem, though with just a few textures missing.  I was at a loss after a repair failed to fix it.  Deleted the saved games liveries file and everything is better.  Thanks for the thread.
