Normandy 2 or 1944 in game?

My DLC list on steam shows Normandy 2 after purchasing the upgrade.  In game it only shows Normandy 1944.  Even on the links along the bottom of the main menu which show all content, even if you don't own them.  So should should my in game menus show both, or did 2 replace the original?  I know its seems like a stupid question I would just like confirmation, and would like to know how to verify that its Normandy 2 i'm using as I had issues with the update.

I seem to have the same problem, in my steam dlc I have all the options checked, but the only one that appears to occupy space is the Normandy 1944 option, which says 44gb. I unistalled it and try to download it again and the intalation shows 16 gb, which is the normandy 1944 map size, not the normandy 2.0 that should be 44gb.

An easy way to check which version is installed, is opening the map, if you dont see london, and the last thing you see up North is Chailey, then you have the older version.

I'm posting 2 screenshots of what I see

DLC

No, the size is the same, check that you have blurry textures in the new area, this is one thing. Everyone owner of N’44 has N’2.0, the question is is it activated or not.

That's because default editor view is too zoomed in. Scroll up-left and you'll see the rest of the terrain. As YoYo pointed, everyone has new areas now, they're just either in low- or high detail depending on whether the Normandy 2 license did activate properly or not. The only way to confirm it is to check the texture resolution on buildings in London and Paris.

The main menu icon remains as it was ("1944").

I don't own Steam version, but check the FAQ thread, lot's of advises from Steam guys there on how to make the map activate for good.

I would like to add that the new detailed area etc. only becomes available in the OpenBeta version of the game.

Stable version has not been updated.

That was my issue at least. I run stable so no new Normandy for me for the time being.

AFAIK the old Normandy 1944 map has been replaced with version "1.5", owners of the old version get improved detailing/textures for the original area, while Normandy 2.0 "upgrade" unlocks the better modelling/textures for London, Paris, additional airfields, etc.

Not sure how it looks for DCS standalone installs but for Steam installs - Normandy 1944 is now a 44 GB install with Normandy 2.0 effectively a licence key that "unlocks" the high res textures and new area detail.

This is how my install looks after Steam fixed the initial teething issues.

Strange AFAIK Normand 1944 should be the same size as Normandy 2.0 for MP/Campaign compatibility, did you switch from Open Beta as "Stable" will still use the old Normandy 1944 "16GB" version until it's updated.

My DLCs are all checked on Steam.  It was just that in the actual game it says "Normandy 1944" when choosing a map,  not Normandy 2.  But I have a detailed Big Ben so i'm assuming I am all set.

Do you use Open beta or Stable version? Also notice that from max zoom out not all airbase are visible.

So I finally fixed this, now I have Normandy 2.0, if anybody from steam is struggling, you have to change to open beta in the "property" menu of the steam game. After that, and installation process will start.

Such problems can arise very often in computer games. It is for this reason that I stopped using this leisure option. Instead, I decided to play at an online casino after reading this detailed review  https://topcasinosreviews.in/plinko-game/ I was impressed by the conditions and the large selection of bonuses that the developers offer. In addition, I really liked the intuitive interface. It seems to me that this is the best option for people without experience interacting with such platforms.

Looks good!
