jackd Posted May 2, 2023 Posted May 2, 2023 Just looked at the general NS 430 Navigation System. Don't really get what it's useful for in gameplay ... is it any use for ww2 planes? This as I am frustrated with the small font used in the Info bar as i want to see airspeed and height more clearly on a 4 k monitor.

Not really as ... • the GPS satellites req'ed for the NS430 to work are only available for mission dates set after March 28th 1994. • the VHF radio isn't modelled 7 hours ago, jackd said: I am frustrated with the small font used in the Info bar as i want to see airspeed and height more clearly on a 4 k monitor. The 2D NS430 "pop up" is scalable, so easier to read than the info bar. Currently the displayed airspeed is incorrect (a factor of x1.85) and fixing the NS430 appears to be a low priority - so I can't recommend buying the NS430 ATM. https://forum.dcs.world/topic/316306-incorrect-ground-speed-being-shown-by-ns430/?do=findComment&comment=5121528 Edited May 2, 2023 by Ramsay 1 1 i9 9900K @4.8GHz, 64GB DDR4, RTX4070 12GB, 1+2TB NVMe, 6+4TB HD, 4+1TB SSD, Winwing Orion 2 F-15EX Throttle + F-16EX Stick, TPR Pedals, TIR5, Win 11 Pro x64, Odyssey G93SC 5120X1440

jackd Posted May 4, 2023 Author Posted May 4, 2023 yes they are, but especially some planes i hate that cockpit view taking up most of my screen, and switch it off with Alt-F1.
