How to change the Russian language at the AMMS screen?

Hello everyone, I have a problem to change the Russian language on the AMMS display to English. Which MODs do I need to install? Thank you for reading my problem.

Something is wrong with your shark. It should be enough to switch the Cockpit language to english - which you obviously did. As there are several English descriptions in your cockpit. But, for example, the "ON OFF" Switch for the ABRIS is in Russian. 

Do you have any mods installed? Maybe Run a repair on DCS.

Thanks for your answer I may have to uninstall this module and install it again. I think there might be an error installing the mod.

You don't need any mods for this. There are two settings that you need to set to English in the DCS options. One is among the general DCS settings and the other is located in the module specific special options. Set them both to English and you should be good.

Sure, but why edit config files if you can just select it in the game menu?

It happened more than once, that the menu selection wasn't workning as expected.

I've never had that happen to me and I've never edited those config files.

IIRC, that happens when a mission file includes a "Config" folder "track_data/options.lua" file which enforces Russian or English avionics system (this is caused by the ME "Prepare mission" menu).

Yesterday colleague have had such situation and normal method did nothing, while editing the file sorted it out. This was the first time he used Kamov since the last OB patch. Same situation I've encountered after the last patch, which by the way Special Settings for all modules.

The miz file indeed contains the Config directory where in subdirectory View I put customized Labels.lua file. This can be the reason?

I was wrong, it was not the Config folder but the "trackd_data" folder. It contains the "options.lua" used by the track maker.

Do you have a "track_data" folder in your miz?

Thank you for your response. I followed that link and read it carefully. and edit the file in the path DCSWorld\Scripts\Aircrafts\_Common\Cockpit\localizer.lua and it worked.

Thank you. I'm unable to reproduce your issue.

• My Avionics Language was set to English.
• My server had Avionics Language set to Native.
• I tried several Ka-50 III slots and they all had an English ABRIS.

If you see it happen again, please attach a track as shorts as possible.

In the general game settings, set avionics language to English. Changing cockpit language only changes cockpit labels. Avionics language in the general game settings is what you need.

Thank you for your answer. I've discovered that problem, it's at the path DCSWorld\Scripts\Aircrafts\_Common\Cockpit\localizer.lua. And I have switched from RU to EN and it worked.
