It's good that they have modularised it. For me, a VR pilot, the control panel would be wasted. So having the opportunity to purchase just the TQS is great. I currently have two Thrustmaster Cougar TQS that I have modified with hall sensors / contactless potentiometers and installed low friction tape that makes it glide without sticking but I yearn for the detent lever. So I expect I will purchase this from Thrustmaster. I will probably buy the whole kit anyway.

 

I heard elsewhere that pre-orders would be in late July with shipping in August. But hey, it's coming sooner or later.

I would just want the panel, I've been wanting a control panel from TM to integrate into my TMWH set up. Having a CP controlled by TARGET for me is a must.

Anyone here attend the expo, and find out what the "secret" new product is? Probably an existing product slightly modified with a new air-frame OEM licence.

edit: Apparently it’s a joystick base. Hopefully something more maintenance free to replace the aging TM Warthog base.

Snap.  Want the throttle to replace my Cougar.  No use for the panel.

I guess the “secret“ is a new stick & throttle system, maybe for the F-16 or F-15E. The TM Warthog is already 10 years old.

Looks very similar to what we have seen from Winwing so far. 530 USD for throttle & panel is a bit expensive in my opinion. But anyway nice to see TM is still in the market for military flight simulations

I found someone who was streaming from the TM booth during the expo, and he talked about it at the start of the stream. I can’t remember who, but it was sponsored by TM.

Good, when the Viper TQL button box portion is available I'll definitely get it. Add it to my TMWH setup. When the joystick base is out I'll get that. Having everything running on TARGET is a must.

I really like this Throttle. Will buy separate due the high price but worth it in my opinion. Compared with the competition this Throttle offer a lot. and very similar to the real thing.

Yep. Same here in Europe. I‘m leaning towards WW nowadays. If only their gear would be available in the european shop.
