Good morning
I do not know if it has already been reported but when I create
a mission with the F15E if the engine is already running
the wheel chocks do not come off when I ask.
On the other hand, if the request is made before starting the engine, no problem, they remove the wheel chocks.
Am I doing something wrong or is it a Bug??
Thanks for the help🤗

You need to either have the canopy open, or the Mic switch set to ON, otherwise the ground crew cant hear your request.

Well yes it was the radio button that was not ON.
A small detail that brings even more immersion.
Mr Rudel_chw you really helped me. Thanks.👏👍🖖

Canopy can be closed, just MIC to on. The position of the canopy does not matter in F-15E for ground crew com.

Are you saying canopy open, but mic off, won't work?

I'm not updating this anymore. It's safe to assume I have all the stuff, and the stuff for the stuff too. 🙂

Actually, it does ... if you forget about the Mic switch, you can still talk to the crew by opening the canopy.

Ya, that's what I thought... 🙂 Just not near the PC to check it out.

On the real airplane, I don’t ever remember having to turn on “MIC” switches to hear my pilots or talk to the guy on the ground if I’m running the jet.  Must be a DCS thing 🤔

The old 1993 TO 1F-15E-1 manual says:

"Intercom Function Selector Switch

This switch, labeled MIC, has positions of RAD ORIDE, ON and OFF. It is not spring-loaded to return to ON position.

ON Selecting ON provides direct com- munication from the cockpit in which it is selected with the other cockpit and/or the ground crew.

OFF Selecting OFF turns off the micro- phone for intercom purposes; how- ever, the crewmember can still

transmit on the radio"

I just don’t remember having to turn that on.  When the JFS is running, it provides power for intercom as soon as the PMG provides electricity.  Maybe the switch was just always in the correct position, but I’ve never had to turn it on.

I was not a Strike Eagle guy, but may just be one of those deals where standard procedure was to leave it in ON? Pilots are lazy by nature. Once we find a switch that we can leave alone forever, you can bet we will! 🙂

I agree.  I set up the pit w/the switches needed for start already on.  Ramps, starter switch, generators, exterior lights, DTM installed, etc.  I never flipped that one.  More than likely it was already on.
