SharpeXB Posted July 22, 2023 Posted July 22, 2023 Is this command really necessary to have mapped? It seems the second detent provides the same function ie ranging the target. i9-14900KS | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | 64GB DDR5 5600MHz | iCUE H150i Liquid CPU Cooler | ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4090 OC | Windows 11 Home | 2TB Samsung 980 PRO NVMe | Corsair RM1000x | LG 48GQ900-B 4K OLED Monitor | CH Fighterstick | Ch Pro Throttle | CH Pro Pedals | TrackIR 5
Tholozor Posted July 22, 2023 Posted July 22, 2023 First-detent enables a range-only laser pulse as opposed to a continuous designation lase. Grennymaster Posted July 24, 2023 Posted July 24, 2023 well if you lase and store targets, the first detend is all you need. ALso for the IAT the first detend is used. But you can also use the second detend if you are limeted on buttons.
aaronwhite Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 (edited) In case you're using a gamepad, like I am, you can use something like JoyToKey to turn the triggers into a multi-detent trigger. If I remember right on mine, I have a bit of a deadzone, so I've got it mapped where 0-10% depression is nothing, 20-80% is the first stage, and then the final 20% is the 2nd stage, since it's easy enough to just fully depress the trigger and hit that. Edit: Correction, I've got 0-5% is nothing, 5%-90% is the first detent, and then 90%-100% is the second detent: Edited July 25, 2023 by aaronwhite 1

I was wondering if this was worth delving into, hadn’t quite figured out if it was possible. PS works great, thanks.
