Windows 11 - VR users

I am still using windows 10 with 9900k, 4090, G2 setup. Seems like windows 10 is getting to the end of its update life, although it will still be supported for some time. Is there any advantage in going to windows 11, read some posts that say it doesn't play well with graphic drivers.

Also I only have beta downloaded, was thinking of downloading alpha now it caught up, does alpha use the the multi core feature now as standard?

I have 9900k and 4090 GPU, DCS runs great on Windows 11 for me. Can't say I saw an increase in performance, but no decrease or issues with it.

I only run DCS Open Beta, not sure what you are referring to with Alpha?

DCS Open Beta - MT version does use as standard, it is a seperate executable than DCS.exe

Thanks, sounds like its a good time to update to windows 11. On the other point I was in effect asking whether the non beta version ran MT as a standard executable rather than as an option.

No currently MT only available in Open Beta.

I am on a 12900KF and it's working very well for me with VR. I am a late adopter for these things to be safe but all good here.

Recently I moved on WIN 11 with my reverb g2 and must say, (could be a placebo) that win11 handles better the processor, for me has ben a good jump.....despite  how windows11 manages menus and files that I dislike a lot.

MT is present now at DCS release version, but (again placebo effect) I think works better Open beta than release candidate. Just my feelings.

Really - that is interesting I do not remember reading where they had added MT to the release version yet.

Open Beta and Release are the exact same version right now: 2.8.7.42718
