Little update.  Maybe screenshot and video later today.

I have figured out the way to combine F-15 BVR radar and the custom radar. 

Now in ELYTRA, 

BVR mode -> F-15C Radar so we can use TWS, F15C HUD only appear when BVR mode is active

ACM mode -> Standalone Avionics so we can use the HMCS look-and-shoot features.  Gun override mode, Boresight mode, Vertical scan mode would be available in ACM.  

AG mode -> Can use real AG weapon now (No need fake bomb-like missile typically used for f15c based mod). Standalone Avionics, can use waypoint / vv / HMD to designate target. CCRP and Ripple launch supported. CCIP not yet implemented. Only unguided bomb except HARM.  Gnd radar implemented but not yet lock from the radar.  Will do.

With the custom AA mode tested working.  I need to rework all HUD / HMD indicator.

So ELYTRA is more near to a modern multi-role fighter.  The only missing part is guided-bomb and missiles.

New video.  Just a record of a causal dogfights with two SU-27 ACE AI.  You can see how the ACM working in current progress.  Only  vertical scan mode used. A more breakdown demo video will be out later.

Another video of a dogfight. 

Using thrust-vectoring could provide you a very fast missile solution for the bandits but it would take out most of your speed.

ELYTRA went for a SEAD practice mission.
Also demonstrated CCIP and HARM release.

I'm quite satisfied with my CCIP logic, it can guide a iron bomb to a direct hit on a truck while releasing at 4k feets above target.

Of course I know it.  I meant to be not making it as a F-35.  After I finish ELYTRA I may consider making it a F-35B.

Beside my own project, I only involve in mod development of JAS39.  Actually everything you need is in the modding hub.

Tried to ask questions concerning some of things I know are possible like laser guided bombs and everyone either does not give me the same answer or say it’s impossible.

New video out! This time demonstrating different CCIP situation.

The CCIP system of ELYTRA real-time calculate the intersection of the bomb trajectory line and ground data from ground radar. Unlike official module they have a magic CCIP which was believed that DCS would tell the impact point through API, in ELYTRA the ground radar would really look for the whole bomb trajectory line to find a closest point to the ground which use quite a lot of computation power.  

In order to maintain a reasonable FPS, the CCIP logic would only try to find a solution if the plane altitude is under 13k feets.  I would rework the CCIP logic later to make it adjust the precision of the calculation according to altitude so as to save the computation power while keeping CCIP working in high altitude.

Thanks but no ETA currently.  This mod is a 1 man works and I'm not always modding.  So it's hard to estimate progress.

This is very interesting.  I'd like to know how you implemented this, I'd love to have that sort of HMD look-and-shoot capability on my F-15EX mod.  If you're okay with sharing that feel free to reach out!

With this mode you can lock a whole SAM site with one click and send GPS guided weapon to destroy it.
