reported Countermeasures HOTAS controls in manual are incorrect

The manual reads:

"HOTAS CONTROLS
On the throttle, there is a three-place switch for countermeasures.
• Center. This is the OFF position and no dispense action is taken.
• Aft. When in BYPASS mode, this will release one flare. If not in BYPASS mode or OFF, AUTO, S/A, or 
MAN mode will initiate the program.
• Forward. When in BYPASS mode, this will release one chaff bundle. If not in BYPASS mode or OFF, 
it will initiate manual program 5."

 

This seems incorrect; When I use this, Aft initiates whichever program I have selected, not necessarily #5. In the attached example I had this set with program #2 set to dispense 3 flares, #3 to dispense 4 flares. Every time I press aft this is what I get. So this description in the manual also seems wrong.

Forward initiates the threat-assessed program if S/A is selected as the mode (I assume Auto just runs this automatically). When I press forward in the example the program runs, pressing it again stops the program.

The manual needs a bit of a rewording on the countermeasure switch logic (the EW section of the manual doesn't appear to have been updated since S/A and AUTO modes were implemented), but currently should work as follows:

In MAN mode:
- FWD initiates program 5.
- AFT initiates the selected numbered program.

In S/A mode:
- FWD provides semi-automatic consent to dispense against the direct threat.
- AFT initiates the selected numbered program.

In AUTO mode:
- FWD provides no function, dispensing is automatic.
- AFT initiates the selected numbered program.

In BYPASS:
- FWD dispenses 2 chaff.
- AFT dispenses 2 flares.
