If Microsoft is a problem then Use Livermore california, This is where for years they had those mysterious flights of the solid white plane with one red stripe around it. The ones that go to area 51 with the propeller heads from the Laurence Livermore National Laboratories. You know the place that china gets all our secrets from. Yeah that place.

Because with some exceptions DCS is focused on combat, so devs focus is to bring war planes. Imho probability that we will get one of unlimited class P-51 in DCS is near 0.

I’m pretty sure that the there will be a downloadable miz containing an air race, there’s no need for ED to bother.

 

A few years ago, my squadron used a miz built by someone else, was really fun.  Included timing and captured if you’d missed a post or cut a corner.  Sorry, don’t have the miz.

There is a mod that allows you to make some air races - pods, aircraft, everything.
