Always nice to hear, pun unintended, from someone that has some experience in a subject. My caveman brain with my Nova was simply “sound is good… me like” . The only benefit I have with the wireless is that I do have it connected to my phone so when I am flying I don’t miss a call from the wife or kids, everyone else I ignore. I do use the wire direct to the headset jack. Hopefully all went well at the doctors and nothing more serious is going on with your ears/hearing. Thank you very much!! Yep hearing is most awesome now, all cleaned out. Hearing better than I have in quite some time. I learned my lesson, no more earbuds for me. 3 Don B EVGA Z390 Dark MB | i9 9900k CPU @ 5.1 GHz | Gigabyte 4090 OC | 64 GB Corsair Vengeance 3200 MHz CL16 | Corsair H150i Pro Cooler |Virpil CM3 Stick w/ Alpha Prime Grip 200mm ext| Virpil CM3 Throttle | VPC Rotor TCS Base w/ Alpha-L Grip| Point Control V2|Varjo Aero|
jww123 Posted March 3, 2024 Posted March 3, 2024 (edited) If you find earwax is becoming an issue again you can try this- turn your head sideways, one ear up- pour about a capful of 3% hydrogen peroxide into the ear, keeping the ear up. Let it bubble for 2-3 minutes then turn head ear down with ear covered with towel repeat on opposite ear. The peroxide will soften the wax and the bubbling will loosen the wax rinsing it out. Probably should not try if the eardrum is perforated, otherwise it is safe and effective (unless the wax is too impacted). Edited March 3, 2024 by jww123

Weasel Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Just found this thread and want to reopen it. As I am also looking for a new headset, my choice will be between the Logitech G Pro X (2) Wireless or the Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless. What are your thougts?
Lange_666 Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Can't comment on the Steelseries but I replaced my Corsair HS 70 Pro Wireless after quite a short life (because of worn out battery + material on headband and ear cups peeling off) with a Logitech G Pro X2 LightSpeed Wireless. It's a very good headset, easy on the ears/head (just the right pressure "for me"), long battery life (Corsair delivered 12 hrs at best, after 2 years only 2, this Logitech G PRO goes to 50 hrs), it connects directly when headset it turned on (Corsair took 20 secs sometimes to get connected), fits fine over my Rift-S VR headset, very good build quality (so far). The only "little" negative point I have is the position of the volume wheel because it's easily rubbed when touching the ON/OFF button moving the volume up/down a bit. But every time I put this headset on, it creates a smile on my face. I like it a lot. 1 Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600. Monitors: LG 27GL850-B27 2560x1440 + Samsung SyncMaster 2443 1920x1200, HOTAS: Warthog with Virpil WarBRD base, MFG Crosswind pedals, TrackIR4, Rift-S, Elgato Streamdeck XL. Personal Wish List: A6 Intruder, Vietnam theater, decent ATC module, better VR performance!

What about the sound quality in general and hearing all the radio comms? Had the chance to put it over my ears in a local store and yes it seems to be very comfortable. I like logitech products and seems this headset wouldn‘t be a bad choice
Lange_666 Posted January 12 Posted January 12 For me the sound quality is fine (better than my previous Corsair HS 70 Pro) but my +60-year-old ears (with one having tinnitus) are not really a reference... 1 Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600.
