Are full fidelity FC3 aircraft even possible?

We keep asking for these but I would like to know if it's even feasible?

 

Is it a simple upgrade of existing assets or a 2 year process making each plane from scratch?

 

I would love a full fidelity A-10a to partner the C and the 2 Flankers

Any hardcore module, be it aircraft, helicopter, etc., needs to be done from scratch, with the necessary open and legal information sources, with SMEs, wind tunnel models and an authorisation that validates the project, and has no legal problems. And to see if the project is financially feasible.

Let's just keep asking. The A-10A for sure should be doable, AND ED will probably look into Cold War era more and more an the future.

Oh I dont mind keeping asking but I just wanted to know if there was even a point to asking.

There is no point asking for something if ED cant do it. Have they ever said anything on the ease of produce thise modules?

ED was plans to build a A-10A on the past, and some plans to build a Mig-29A, surely a A-10A and a F-15C has feasible, about Mig-29S, Su-25A/T or Su-27/-33 has actually a "not go" or "unkonow".

Yeah, that's true. I guess they already know. 

They have actually said that it takes almost as much time making FC3 modules compared to FF, and that's why they won't make more FC3. And they're not interchangeable, (if that's the correct expression), so FF must be made from scratch. I guess that's why they're going with MAC, which from what I've seen, are toned down FF modules.

The biggest obstacle would be getting the Russian government to sign off on the red planes. The Eagle and Warthog would be the easiest followed by the Grach.

Well, I agree mostly but they could probably keep the flight model and 3d model and textures.

I would say no, the 3d model and textures are old and the flight model will probably have to be reworked if you get information from the wind tuner and various issues that affect the behaviour of the aircraft.

But there is no reason you couldn’t in principle. And the Mig-29 9.12 model is one of ED’s best fixed wing aircraft.
