2.9 F1EE / BE Landing gear lever logic wrong?

In 2.9 in cold aircraft I start with the Landing gear lever in Up position. Also the simplified landing gear option is not working. Now, after take-off I have to get the cover down first, then put the gear lever down and then up again to retract the gear.

I've noticed the same issue, the gear on the BE and EE do not respond to HOTAS controls, "g" key, or cockpit clicks. The CE seems to work after a few tries.

This seems to be related to the "Simplified Gear Lever" option in the "SPECIAL" options tab:

With "Simplified Gear Lever" checked (on), the aircraft starts with the gear lever in the UP position when spawning on the ground. This happens for both hot and cold starts. This can easily be verified using the "Cold Start" and "Take Off" instant action missions. In this configuration, pressing the "Landing Gear Up/Down" keybind after takeoff doesn't cause the gear to be retracted.

With "Simplified Gear Lever" off, the aircraft starts with the gear lever in the DOWN position, and  the "Landing Gear Up/Down" keybind works normally (assuming the U/C safety lever is open).

As far as we can tell it's a problem associated with the simplified gear logic. We recommend using the regular logic until the problem is fixed.

Yes. Usually when you turn master arm on, trigger safety should be off safe position too. Doesn't seem to work in F1-BE. Its only a cosmetic issue because i can fire weapons just fine.

Okay, then it seems like I've also run into the rearm and reload bug described in another thread at the same time. 😅

So ein Feuerball, JUNGE!

Hi all,

The trigger guards in the control stick are opened (if the special option menu is checked) when the cannon fire is pressed (spacebar in the default config), not when the master arm is moved to on. I've just tested and it works as intended in both cockpits, with the same logic as in the single seaters.
