Engine stall at supersonic speeds not able to be restarted

I've been testing the speed of the f1ce in 2.9 beta when the engine stalls i can never manage to get it to windmill. Even at 500 knots diving through 20'000ft.

Is this supposed to happen and if so how can you slow down from such high speeds. the airbrake had little to no effect.

I can esily repete it by either throttling to mil power or by manouvering slightly at speed over mach 1.4 and altitudes over 35'000ft

Can't confirm.

Did some maneuvering above and below M1.4 in blower and at MIL at both above and below 35k. No issues. Are you sure, you're at MIL and not below?

The engine will spool down quite a bit and the restart takes some time.

Don't go too fast. 300KIAS is plenty. The relight-envelope's on the left cockpit wall.

the engine spools to zero and doesn't climb no matter what i do

To be able to restart the engine above 20000ft (30000ft max) you need to be below 300kts, also here the step showed in the manual to relight the engine at 20kft:

Put the inverter to "ALL VOL" forward, be sure it stays in position (you might need to hold it).
Put the throttle above IDLE and below AB.
When the RPM get to 5000RPM, check T4 as follow : 250<T4<700°C
Put the inverter "ALL VOL" to stop.
Put the throttle to the desired power.

In case of a failed attempt:
Put the Throttle to "STOP".
Wait 30 seconds and try a new relight at a lower altitude.
Keep speed above 230kts or >1100RPM.
Try a new relight.

My Setup : i5-4690 3.50GHz + 24GB RAM DDR3 1600MHz + MSI RTX 2060 Super Ventus OC + 2 SSD + 4 HDD + Oculus Rift CV1 + TM T.16000M Hotas

This means that the engine has failed. If the stall doesn't recover by itself within the first 30 seconds or so, throttle must be cut and the air restart procedure started.

No matter what procedure i follow I can't get the engine to windmill. below 20'000ft at 300+ knots ias

I waited 30 seconds and attempted relight procedures without the windmilling but the engine just catches fire.

Why is the engine not windmilling?

Hi, your engine is destroyed. Try to cut the throttle as soon as engine stall signs start to develop. When the symptoms subside, advance the throttle forward and command an engine relight once you are within the allowed zone with the in-flight relight lever below the throttle (not with the usual starter).

When you say cut the throttle you mean all the way into the fuel cutoff to shut down the engine? Then advance it back to idle?
