bonesvf103 Posted November 1, 2023 Posted November 1, 2023 On the Radar MFD, what is the logic on the reset pushbutton? It was mentioned a little off topic on a previous post so I haven't been able to successfully search for it so I figured I'd ask to the point instead. So if you had set up radar parameters and hit "SET" and then say you had a TWS soft lock or a STT lock and then hit the reset button, what is the logic of the button function? It doesn't necessarily reset back to your original set parameters, it seems to cycle instead. Thanks! v6, boNes "Also, I would prefer a back seater over the extra gas any day. Hulkbust44 Posted November 1, 2023 Posted November 1, 2023 RESET is supposed to revert track designations to the system priority order.If you have an L+S and DT2 set on tracks say 4 and 5 as they are ranked, RESET will drop those designations and the rank 1 track will be the L+S. If there is an STT that target will be the L+S. (Or FLIR autotrack if there is no radar STT)This also deselects EXP, RAID, BIAS, and restores the auto scale function.
