Crash * Posted November 8, 2023 Posted November 8, 2023 (edited) When I die in a multiplayer session, it puts me in the outside view of a fellow player or AI. It feels like I'm right behind a screeching turbine or on the roaring rotor head. I then have to wait a few very long seconds in this noisy hell until I can jump back into a machine. In that time, I can't hear what the others are saying. And I'm disoriented and stressed. A dark screen with reduced sound would be nice. Then a single message about why I died. (optional). At least until me and my PC are ready to join in again. As a workaround, press F10 before trying to respawn. 3 minutes ago, Crash * said: A dark screen with reduced sound would be nice. Then a single message about why I died. (optional). It’s all part of DCS making the sim as real as possible. It’s always quiet and peaceful for me… YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCU1...CR6IZ7crfdZxDg _____ Win 11 Pro x64, Asrock Z790 Steel Legend MoBo, Intel i7-13700K, MSI RKT 4070 Super 12GB, Corsair Dominator DDR5 RAM 32GB.

When I pass away now, there is a warm light and gentle sounds and lots of puppies leading me to a higher entity. But I prefer the tip with the F10 map, because I can't really do without coffee. 1 System Specs: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, RX 6900 XT, 64GB RAM // Tobsen CM Kollektiv, VPC CM3 Throttle, VPC WarBRD Rudder Pedals, VPC T-50 CM2 + WarBRD Base VR: HP Reverb G2 Helis: UH-1H / KA-50 3 / Mi-8 / Mi-24P / SA-342 / AH-64D / OH 58D / CH-47F Jets: F-5E / F-14A/B / F/A-18C / MC-2000 / A-10C II / AV-8B / AJS 37 / MIG-21bis / F-16C / F-15E / F-4E Maps: Nevada / Persian Gulf / Normandie 2.0 / Syria / South Atlantic / Sina / Cold War Germany WWII: Spitfire / WWII Assets Pack Tech.: Combined Arms / NS430 / Supercarrier Waiting for: BO-105 / G.91R / Tornado IDS / Eurofighter
Mars Exulte Posted November 9, 2023 Posted November 9, 2023 The ear splitting noise typical when you die really does need to go. Most of us have ''hear like in helmet'' to reduce background noise while keeping radios, etc. Our audio levels are adjusted appropriately and then when we die we are blasted with painfully loud noise. It is one of the many thousands of basic QoL/common sense sort of things common in most games since the 90s that is overlooked for years on end here. 1 Де вороги, знайдуться козаки їх перемогти. 5800x3d * 3090 * 64gb * Reverb G2
