DCS Freezes in VR and 2D at seemingly random times.

Hi all. I've got no idea what else to try at the moment so writing here in the hopes of someone able to read the logs to see what triggers it.

My symptoms are DCS keeps freezing both in VR and 2D. When it freezes I can still hear the background sounds but DCS is "not responding" if I wait it out it will sometimes unfreeze after anything from 10 seconds to 2 minutes and maybe more, but if it goes more than 2 minutes I usually quit and restart.

Ive tried quite a few things so far:
several repairs

Clean

Clean re-install and without any mods installed

Tried changing /turning off every DCS setting one by one to see if its related to anything there.
Still no clue what might cause the issue.

I don't understand the log files as the errors it shows doesn't tell me anything. Ive attached the latest  log here, this log should have 3 freezes in it.

I'm starting to think its related to either audio bug or a device loosing its connection but not sure.

Anyone got any ideas?

EDIT:
I might have figured out the cause.

I have a TV that sits in a different floor than my computer but is connected to my Wifi. When the TV is turned off, my DCS log gives me this message:
INFO    APP (Main): Device unplugged: [SWD] [TV] Samsung 7 Series (50). and DCS freezes.

When my TV turns on, the DCS log gives me this message:

INFO    APP (Main): Device plugged: [SWD] [TV] Samsung 7 Series (50)

How this is causing DCS to freeze is beyond my understanding, but when testing, it turned out that everytime I turn my TV ON or OFF DCS crashes. The only connection between my TV and my computer is by Wifi, nothing else.

Can DCS be scanning for deviced connected by wifi due to wifi connected MFDS etc? and if so, can i somehow turn it off to DCS doesn't crash whenever my TV is turned on or off? If I ask my GF not to turn ON/OFF the TV while I fly, i fear it would have the opposite effect on her and the TV would go on and off every 10 minutes 😄
Attached another log from today where the TV was turned on, DCS froze and while frozen I turned the TV OFF again. It seems to be trying to rezie window when TV was turned on.

THIS dcs.log is from today.

THISdcs.log is the log I attached with the original post.

Anyone help please?

It's best to provide log from that session.

LOL 😄

Try DCS options > controls > disable hot plug.

If that doesn't help you'll have to mess with the software that connects your TV and MFDs to the system. Easiest is to turn off the WiFi in the TV of course.

After some testing today, it seems that fixed it. Unable hot plugging seems to fix it, or work ad a work around. I still consider it a bug if DCS looks at any device on my wifi and actually freeze if one of them gets turned off/on even if its not used/connected with DCS in any way. Thank for the help though! 🙂 I really appreciate it! 🙂

It's "not" DCS. Go look in Windows and disable your connection to the TV from there. It probably shows up as a media center/player/receiver/remote screen bla bla something. All new "smart" devices can be connected nowadays, which can be a pain if you let Windows discover the.
That said turned off "hot plug" in DCS, and if something's amiss, I just open control settings and do a manual refresh. Never had it freeze on me though.
Cheers!
