I did find another topic on this, but it's 6 mos old and seemed like it's stagnant, worried I may not get a reply.

I've had Normandy map since it released, I'm wanting to upgrade to the 2.0 map, but when I go to my cart to check out. It gives me a warning message saying.

Warning!
You already have these products from your cart:

DCS: Normandy 2.0 Map

Please go back and review added to cart products.

Do I disregard the warning, go ahead and pay for it? Is it already installed but sitting dormant in my DCS root install?

Pretty much. Once purchased it just activates the high resolution terrain and buildings, which are already installed and hidden there on your drive. I don't remember if you even have to click anything in module manager.

I had a similar warning (although I can't recall it if specifically said "2.0") and just pressed through. The correct discount was registered at checkout and the transaction was completed.

Mind you, all that applies to standalone version, which you use I believe? Steam guys had more problems making the upgrade work, but I don't know how they solved it eventually.

Shouldn't you just log in to the store page and find Normandy 1944 to Normandy 2 upgrade?

^ Yup, but such an upgrade is a separate item only in Steam. In ED shop the product is just listed as a "Normandy 2.0 map", with relevant discount for Normandy 1 / Channel owner showing up after logging in.
