Seasonal textures

With the recent expansion of new airfields it seems that Normandy 2.0 is going beyond the scope of Overlord, which would include more seasons than just June through July. It would be nice to have some autumn and winter textures.

We already have beautiful Spring and Autumn textures?

You need to change the date of the mission to see them

I have changed the date and not seen any texture changes. The only map with functioning 4 seasons is Caucasus. Channel has two seasons: summer and winter. Normandy is the same summer green no matter what month I select. 

 

EDIT: I stand corrected on the autumn textures, however when selecting December there are no winter textures.

Normandy 2.0 Map has Spring, Summer and Autumn only.

Normandy 1944 has Summer only.

^ Nah, Normandy 1944 had these three sets as well. I remember it well, cause only Autumn scenery looked kind of allright, while Summer and Spring had hoplelessly oversaturated cartoon greens everywhere.

Not sure how Normandy "1.5" works now (N 2 user here), albeit I suspect it inherited most of ground and foliage textures from N 2.

In either case, it seems winter scenery was never part of the devs' plan indeed. Nothing wrong with wishing for it, though!
