Should release angle of 0 degree makes the vertical steering cue (and max toss anticipation cue) appear?

In A2G mode with a low drag only bomb selected, the default release angle is 45 degrees, so I think it makes sense to have the vertical steering cue and the max toss anticipation cue appear. But then when I set it to 0 degree, they still appear, and the real solution cue with the release timer only appear after that. I would imagine if the release angle set to 0, then those would not appear since it doesn't provide any useful info, kind of like when the high drag bomb is selected.

I can't find any info regarding this in the official manual or chuck's guide so hopefully someone can provide more insight here.

My 30-year-old -34 doesn't say anything about it either. The toss anticipation cue is calculated off the programmed release angle, so to a layman it would seem that selecting 0 would disable the cue because a "max toss" at 0 degrees is the same as max range in a level CCRP drop.

If the cue is supposed to appear, then something must be different between a "max toss" at 0 and a level CCRP drop, but what would that difference be?

i think the workflow of the angle being 0 and not displaying the cues is harder to write in code than just displaying the cues for ANY angle drop. the pilot is used to a cue so display the cue. this is just me thinking through the software workflow.
