hello. i believe you still have some mods. they are called out in the dcs log.

go into your folder and move anything not from the vanilla dcs to another folder for backup.

crash happens without the mods. I added the mods after the last patch to the game and it was crashing then as well.

You seem to have an issue with "WinXR". I'm not sure what it is.

should i uninstall and reinstall it? I checked and it is up to date. Not sure if my GPU overclock would cause this to happen. I lowered it and tried the same SP mission it was crashing on within minutes and I played for about 30 minutes no issues. But then again I could play sometimes for an hour or more in MP and no issue then it would crash repeatedly the next time i go in to the same server and that was with the higher overclock and mods.

OC of GFX cards have been known to cause issues. You can try to set DBUG mode in the Nvidia control panel.

@BMGZ06  Are you intentionally running DCS in VR? Or do you play on a monitor?

If you play on a monitor, disable VR in DCS startup parameters:

"C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin-mt/DCS.exe" --force_disable_VR

(Right-click your DCS icon, Properties, and edit the path as shown above - mind the space after the ").

still getting a lot of crashes and I tried removing mods and no help. I repaired as well again. I reduced my OC on my GPU by half. I deleted Openxr toolkit and emptied the FXO meta2 folders again. this all began after the last update.dcs.log-20231227-002554.zip

Your log file is still showing Hercules sound mod and UH-60L mod sound stuff.  The UH-60 has been a problem with this patch, so that could be the source of your problem.

It also looks like VIACOM Pro is causing a lot of errors.

Ya I saw that too. Thing is it seems to be a big issue in the one server I play in for my airgroup that uses both mods in Foothold. I tried a few other foothold servers and did not have a problem and they were not using either mod though that I could see. I did see the Vaicom errors though. Not sure why that is a problem all of a sudden.

With DCS closed, can you go into your saved games directory. Locate your DCS or DCS.OpenBeta folder and rename it to DCS.old or DCS.OpenBeta.old.

Restart DCS, and close again. This will create a new folder. Note: you will have lost all your bindings, but you can copy them back from the DCS\Config\Input directory.

Restart DCS, and try flying again. See if that fixes the issue.
