Can be...Do you want to, probably not. The HOTAS is beyond useful for all the functions of the aircraft.

Ok I see...
I did bought the module but i can't seem to map TDC commands which i assume is needed in operating the Radar, Lantirn/pods etc..

Your screenshot shows you're in "Axis Commands".

If you're trying to assign it to buttons (like a hat switch) you need to do it where the button config is. Under "HOTAS".

The only real struggle without a hotas is Air to air refueling and in general formation flying due to the "throttle" on the t16000m being fiddly. I think. It's easy to bind anything you need on the keyboard. It has way more buttons than any throttle after all.

Hotas adds a lot to the immersion though.

Yeah you could assign maybe two or even three different modifiers to those buttons on the base and then have lots of possibilities.
