Ahmed
Hi, After the last FCS/FM update, the hornet still overbanks considerably when in PA mode. pa_overbank.trk
ED Team NineLine Posted February 22 ED Team Share Posted February 22 Hi, do you have some reference that is publicly available showing this? If you are unsure you can DM it to me. Thanks. Ahmed
No, I don't, other than this highly unusual handling characteristic that the DCS hornet shows not being documented in the NFM handling characteristics, which should be enough evidence by itself. Any conventional aircraft is not expected to roll further into the turn as that would make it display negative static lateral stability. Phantom711
The idea of „fly by wire“ is to translate the pilots inputs into the respective aircraft movements. Now if the pilot sets 30deg AOB, then centers the stick and the aircraft keeps on rolling, then that kind of defeats the purpose of FBW. But no…I do not have any evidence that this is wrong though. vCVW-17 is looking for Hornet and Tomcat pilots and RIOs. Join the vCVW-17 Discord.
