Hi all,

tried to boot up dcs for the first time in a while, and it wouldn't start. I tried opening the MT version and the regular version no luck. also ran a repair and no dice.

OK, if the repair didnt work then the issue may be caused by something within your saved games folder. Try the following:

rename the folder "C:\Users\Jude Kirby\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta", to DCS.openbeta.bak

Does DCS starts now?  It will probably ask you for your ED account credentials.

If it starts, it will create a new default DCS.openbeta folder, exit DCS and then copy from the .bak folder the following items:

\Config

\MissionEditor

restart DCS, does it still works?  If yes, you can copy back from the .bak folder the items:

\Missions

\Liveries

\Missions

and

\Scripts

... do not copy back the \Mods folder, as it probably contains the cause of the issue.

yes seems to be a side effect of the v63 software, basically it creates a problem where the gpu is not reported.

But thank you for your observation.
